Professor Kevin Seymour

Kevin qualified from Kings in 1981 and following 5 years in general practice as an RAF Dental Officer did his MSc in Periodontology at what was then Guys.

 

Following this, he spent the next 20 or so years teaching Periodontology and Restorative Dentistry at Guys and then Barts and The London, where he left in 2011 as a Senior Lecturer in Periodontology and Honorary Consultant in Restorative Dentistry and course coordinator for the MClinDent programme in Periodontology.

 

Along the way, he gained his MRD and admission to the Specialist Lists in Periodontics, Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry and had a periodontal referral practice in North London for 17 years.

 

Kevin moved to Manchester in January 2012 to become Professor of Periodontology and currently is Programme Director for the Masters programmes in Periodontology at The University of Manchester.
