John Cameron

Senior Dental Adviser for NHS National Services Scotland

 

John Cameron is the Senior Dental Adviser for NHS National Services Scotland and Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow leading on Law Ethics and Professionalism at the University of Aberdeen Dental school. He has extensive medico-legal experience and has formerly been Dental Adviser for MDDUS and Local Adviser and a member of the Dental Advisory Panel for Dental Protection Ltd.

He has both dental and legal degrees, and in addition to his current work for NHS Scotland and at the university he runs a company advising health care professionals on legal problems. He has made representations at the GDC, GMC NMC and at three employment tribunals in the last year alone.

John lectures widely throughout the UK on risk management and medico-legal matters as well as having contributed to several books and publications.
